One of the great things about the Academy is the broad spectrum of instruction offered. The very purpose is to teach the students to do everything from the basic level all the way up to more advanced skills. The most important task to start off with is how to saddle your cayuse. -BP-

This is a 3 image blend for exposure. The tree line made it extremely difficult to blend the sky in properly. There's got to be an easier and better way than the way I did it, but it's a technique I'm still experimenting with. I'll leave the judgment up to the view. Mountain sunsets are so awesome! -BP-

Smoke Screen

Camp fires are such an amazing thing. Cowboy TV! -BP-

I still don't quite have the night photography thing figured out yet. It's hard to fathom sometimes that this shot was taken at 2130...Under a full moon.... So much potential! What a wonderful evening to spend out in the mountains under the stars! -BP-

This was taken around 10pm. There's a fair bit of noise, but I had to try a full moon shot at camp. -BP-

Feeding the horses in the early morning sunlight. Watching fathers and sons bond and grow together was the best part. -BP-
