It was oh so cold when I was out on the lake shore of Lake Michigan shooting on the ice... The wind was blowing and made for a cold shoot. Seconds after I shot this image, my camera froze up and quit... Had to thaw it out for a alter shoot.
There was a lot of light pollution from Chicago and across the east side of the lake, but I still tried to capture a shot. The ice was erroding at a fast pace, so we had to stay away from the edge. My speedlights succumbed to the cold, so we had to improvise and use a cell phone for light painting. -BP-
